Issue
- The dishwasher displays an error code i30, beeps 3 times, LED flashes 3 times
- Dishwasher drains constantly
- Dishwasher leaking constantly
- Water leaks from the dishwasher
Applies to
- Integrated dishwasher
- Freestanding dishwasher
Resolution
It is possible that after leaving the machine for several hours, or overnight (with the water supply turned off), the error may disappear and the programme will run again. However, if the source of the leak into the base has not been rectified, it is likely the i30 error will return. If this step doesn't resolve the issue, then a service visit by one of our approved service providers is recommended.
Error message i30 may indicate an internal leak, caused by water collecting in the base of the appliance. In this case, a visit by an authorised service technician is recommended.
The anti-flood device is on. The display shows i30 (for models without display 3 beeps / 3 LED flashes):
- Close the water tap.
- Make sure that the appliance is correctly installed according to the installation instructions.
- Make sure the baskets are loaded as instructed in the user manual.
- Make sure the filters, spray arms and sump are clean
Cause
Over foaming:
On some occasions, excess foam inside the tub can lead to incidents of "i30". If this is the case, switch off the dishwasher at the mains, leaving it overnight to allow the foam to disperse.
Spray arm rotation impeded or large item deflecting water jet:
Occasionally a large item may block or impede the spray arm rotation, leading to water being sprayed consistently in one position only, this may put undue pressure on one area of the door seal and lead to inundation and leaking in that particular area. Check the loading and ensure the spray arms can rotate freely and that no unusually large item is either blocking movement, or perhaps deflecting water spray into a corner of the dishwasher, or back onto the internal door panel. After adjusting the load and/or removing the large item, leave the machine off overnight to allow the base to dry out a little and try again the next day.
Leaking:
It may indicate an internal leak leading to the water collecting in the base of the appliance. In this case, a visit by an authorised service technician will be required.
